Rigidax^® Removal Recommendation with SamSol^® Dewax

Step 1 Melt Out (Tank 1): Follow the recommended Rigidax® melt out cycle. This will remove 95% of the Rigidax leaving behind a thin film of wax.

Step 2 Wash (Tank 2): Wash the parts in a 100% concentration of Samsol Dewax heated to 60°C to 93°C, depending on the melting point of the wax. Use mechanical or ultrasonic agitation in the wash bath to speed the cleaning process.

Step 3 Rinse (Tanks 3 & 4): Rinse the residual Samsol® Dewax and dissolved soil from the parts. Although agitated water is the most common rinse. The process can be optimized by adding 5% solution of M Aero rinse agent in tank 3.

Step 4 Dry: (not pictured): If drying assistance is required to remove the residual rinse water from the parts, use ambient air, oven, forced air, centrifugal force, hand wipe, or any other appropriate method.
